Parking
Up to three compact vehicles may fit in the parking pad, 2 head-in and one parallel. All vehicles that do not fit may be parked downtown and visitors shuttled to the cabin. Please do not park in the street, as it is a one-lane road.
Using the fireplace/stove
*Please see updated instructions for new high efficiency wood burning stove in pdf below!* The fireplace and stove work best with some ash left in them however if a large quanty of ash accumulates please place COOL ash in can on the porch ONLY. There is always a high risk of fire in the forest and ash will stay hot for several day, please be extremely cautious.
Sorry no pets
For the comfort of all visitors and the safety of your pet (there are coyotes and bears in the area), we ask that you not bring animals to the cabin.
No Smoking
Please, no smoking inside the cabin. There is an ash can on the front porch. Please flick all ash and dispose of cigarette butts in the ash can. There is always a high risk of fire in the forest, please be extremely cautious with all sources of fire.
Clean up
We ask that you leave the cabin in the same condition you found it. There are cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner in the closet under the stairs, across from the downstairs bathroom. Curbside trash pickup is Monday morning at 6am. Please place filled trash bins nearer to the roadway in the parking area.

Freezing temperatures in the mountains mean that the cabin has been shut down to prevent damage to the pipes. The startup and shutdown procedures, while not difficult,
are very important.
